SHAWN MENDES: His tour cancelled

Bad news for the fans of Shawn Mendes who were supposed to go to one of his concerts: the rest of his tour, including his concert on June 29, 2023 in Paris, has been cancelled! We tell you why and give you some information in this article.

A few weeks ago, Shawn Mendes found himself forced to cancel part of his concerts in Canada, explaining that he didn’t realize that he wasn’t yet ready to get away from his friends and family by starting a tour.

While the singer was expected to return in force in the coming days, he recently posted a message on his social networks explaining that he was forced to cancel the rest of his tour in North America, in the United Kingdom and in Europe. He said that him and his team “were hopeful that (he) might be able to pick up with the rest of the dates after so much needed time off”, but that after talking with doctors, his mental health had to come first. Indeed, it seems that Shawn needs a little more time to prepare for a world tour, and that is understandable!

Here is his full message:

As we could see in the documentary ‘Shawn Mendes In Wonder‘ which is dedicated to him on Netflix, the life of a singer, or more globally of a public personality, is not as easy as it seems, and we can understand that like any human being, our dear Canadian needs a break to recharge his batteries.

Regarding sales platforms such as Ticketmaster, it is explained on their website that emails should reach buyers quite quickly so don’t worry about refunds: everything should be explained there!

In any case, we hope that Shawn will feel better soon and we wish him to take care of himself during this rest period. We can’t wait to see him again!
