A new trailer for the remake of ‘Pinocchio’!

After the success of The Lion King and Aladdin, it’s Pinocchio’s turn to have a live-action adaptation. We have been telling you about over the past months SoundsOfSeries, and today the first trailer for the movie has been released.

A POINT ON THE STORY

The movie will be based on the book from 1883 « The adventures of Pinocchio » by the Italian author Carlo Collodi. Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) is Geppetto’s creation (Tom Hanks), a wood sculptor who does not have any child sur bois, and who makes the wish that Pinocchio would become a real boy. His wish is heard by the Blue Fairy (interpreted by Cynthia Erivo), who gives life to the puppet. Geppetto will therefore raise him as his son, and will try to turn Pinocchio into a real boy. The movie will be produced by Robert Zemeckis, and will allow us to admire Luke Evans as the coachman.

As said before, the movie will be produced by Robert Zemeckis who also wrote the scenario with Chris Weitz. The movie will be produced by Robert but also Andrew Milano. Being a classic, it was obvious to find the song “When You Wish Upon A Star“. It will be interpreted by Erivo in the movie. The movie will be available on Disney+ on September 8th, 2022.
