From Heartstopper to Doctor Who: Yasmin Finney

For her second role, Yasmin joins the ranks of the international and memorable series: Doctor Who. She leaves aside the role of Charlie Spring’s best friend, the time to find the Doctor!

The news has ignited Twitter and fans of both series. Yasmin Finney, who is best known for the role of Elle in the Netflix series Heartstopper, released just a month ago, is part of the cast of the next season of the series that we no longer present: Doctor Who. She will play Rose, who according to fans and theories, could play a very big role in the Whoniverse (universe of the series).

During her meeting with fans at the Empire Conventions virtual convention, she was able to share a few things including her feelings about the casting and filming.

The filming began in May, and actually she was on the set during the convention. She is very grateful, and she can’t believe it yet, it is only her second role in a series, she joined a cult series, with an incredible cast in a universe so known around the world but has witnessed the craze that the series generates, especially because of the paparazzi present on the set, it is no longer the “small” team of Heartstopper.

The shooting of season 14 should end for her, this summer. As a reminder, the announcement of the next Doctor was made a few days before hers, it is none other than Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education), it will be on our screens in 2023.

Yasmin has not finished to make talk about her, and we will not miss to share with you her novelties that it is compared to Heartstopper or Doctor Who!
