OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS OF THE SERIES:

“A rich blend of modern mythology and dark fantasy, “Sandman” tightly links contemporary fiction, historical drama, and legends to tell the story of those whose fates have been touched by Morpheus, the King of Dreams, as he attempts to redeem the cosmic (and human) mistakes he has made in his long existence.”Netflix

A NEW ADAPTATION

The synopsis surely speaks to you! It is an adaptation of a series of graphic novels created and written by the British Neil Gaiman. You will probably notice that this comic book is different from the others. Indeed, we are not used to this kind of superheroes. In the series, we will be able to find a totally improbable cast! First of all, we have Tom Sturridge as Morpheus. The series revolves around him. He will be accompanied by Gwendoline Christie (whom you met in Game of Thrones), Jenna Coleman or Boyd Holbrook and Charles Dance. A casting that tells you already a lot about the series.

OUR OPINION ON THE FIRST EPISODE:

Incredible. That’s all I can say. This is an episode that immediately puts you in the story. Or rather in the STORIES. Because really, in my opinion, watching this first episode, the plot splits into several paths that will intersect later in the final episodes. The quality of the acting, the images and especially the setting makes the series interesting. It is quite possible that Sandman will get a similar popularity to Shadow & Bone. To be seen later.

It is now 9:01. The series is available on Netflix. What are you waiting for?
