THE MAZE RUNNER: Thomas Brodie-Sangster tells the end of the shooting with the actors!

Released in 2014 (yes.. we like to age you), ‘The Maze Runner‘ became very quickly a successful saga. It is in this saga that we will see the birth of the quartet Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Ki Hong Lee and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. However, the actors have never (or very little) talked about the backstage of the saga.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster was in Paris last week and he finally confided in his fans. The shooting of the first movie was in Louisiana, far from any civilization. Going back and forth to the city became very easily exhausting for the actors. It is necessary to know that the cast was very close and liked to spend evenings together! The actor told us that at the end of the shootings, the team rented buscothèques (buses fitted out to party) and brought them back to the place of the shooting to be able to have parties.

The latter also had the opportunity to talk about his casting for Newt. In fact, he auditioned for two roles, for Newt but also for Gally. Indeed, it was the same thing for Will Poulter who also auditioned for these two characters. The characters were very similar but there was a ‘good guy‘ on one side and a ‘bad guy‘ on the other. The crew chose to cast Thomas as Newt and Will as Gally.
